Materials:
- Yarn
- I crochet hook
- Fabric stiffener (opitonal)
- Glue
- Yarn needle
- Hair clip
Instructions:
-
dc in 3rd ch and across 21 dc. Repeat for 4 rows (or as big/long as you want your bow to be)
-
Attach needle to end of yarn and fold the swatch in half so you know where the middle of your bow will be.
-
Unfold bow, keeping track of the center. Crease the center into a bow shape.
-
Wrap yarn around center of bow to hold center in place. Weave in loose end or add a dab of glue in the back.
-
Add hair clip and a dab of glue. I placed mine onto a cardboard piece until the glue dried, so the insides of the clip didn’t stick together. I used super glue, but any industrial glue or hot glue should work.
- Optional step: Add fabric stiffener to your hair bow so that it maintains the bow shape. You can also block your crochet swatch before wrapping it with yarn.
