Bathroom Break Pass
If a student needs to be excused to take a potty break, they are going to need a pass! This kid craft project is just too adorable for teachers to pass up! Let your students go potty with class!
Materials:
DecoArt Products Required
- Americana Acrylics
- DA199 - Primary Red
- DAO10 - Cadmium Yellow (transparent)
- Americana Multi-Purpose Sealer
- DS17 - Multi-Purpose Sealer
- Small unfinished wood tag, Lara's Crafts PT1001
- 1 1/4" round foam stencil brush
- 1/2" flat brush
- Ruler
- Scissors
- Foam plate
- Three 10" length scrapbooking school-themed ribbons
- Ultra fine point and fine point black permanent markers
- Flame lighter (optional)
Steps:
Note: Let dry after each step.
- Use flat brush and Primary Red to paint tag.
- Refer to photo and use foam stencil brush dipped in Cadmium Yellow to dot on center of tag.
- Apply coat of Multi-Purpose Sealer to rectangle.
- Use fine point marker to write letters for "POTTY PASS" over center of tag. Use ultra fine point marker to write teacher's name at hole end of tag.
- Pull ends of three ribbons through hole of tag until center of ribbons are in hole. Tie knot at edge of tag.
- Trim ribbon ends as desired and seal ends with flame lighter to prevent raveling.
Helpful Tip:
A hair dryer on low heat setting can be used to speed drying process of paint.
