Basic Daisy Chain
Before you begin any wire beading projects, read up on how to make a basic daisy chain. This tutorial from Pennie Espiritu, and other basic wire beading techniques, are essential when using easy beading patterns.
Materials:
- 11/0 seed beads in two colors
- Beading Thread
- Beading needle
Instructions:
- Thread needle with 2 yds. of beading thread or any amount that one is comfortable working. Pick up 8 color A seed beads. Tie beads into a circle with a half hitch tie. Pick up a color B seed bead. Go up through the fourth bead of the circle of 8 color A beads.
- Pick up 3 color A beads and one color B bead. Go back through the bead next to the bead where the thread is coming out of the circle of beads. Pull thread tight, Pick up three color A seed beads. Go back through the seed bead next to the color B bead. This will make the daisy.
- Repeat this step until one reaches the length that is needed for the necklace, choker or bracelet.
