    very well explained

Awesome video. Much better than reading it (I'm a visual learner) and trying to figure out the posture of the fingers, etc.

I have been reading a book on beginners crochet and this really helped to make sure I'm doing it correctly. Thank you!!

Do you know of a better video that I can learn how to crochet...anxiously waiting!

Hi, TerryJacobs 6950458. Have you checked out our sister site AllFreeCrochet.com? We have a YouTube channel with tons of tutorial videos! Here's the URL: www.youtube.com/allfreecrochet Enjoy! --Editors of FaveCrafts

This knot is called a slip knot (a square knot is not adjustable). While it was not done incorrectly, it was the hardest way to make a slip knot and hold yarn that I have ever seen. She is correct that there are many ways (not one right way) to hold yarn, but I would not recommend that beginners try this method unless other methods are awkward for them.

I thought this was a poor video to show a beginner. It was awkward and used poor technique (in my opinion).
