wish there were still photos of the tutorial or of each stitch and written instructions..

I agree with uwerenotinvited. I would love to see how to make the second row also. I have a hard time doing it from written directions as I don't understand all of the "lingo" yet. If someone knows of a video that shows it, could you please let me know. Thank you all.

It looks like after the foundation row was made, the second row was front post double crochet stitches. This is in Pt. 1.

Why didn't you show HOW you get to the 2nd row...and every row thereafter? this is useless!!!! All you can make from this is a foundation row! Please finish the tutorial BEFORE you post it!

I would really like to see a tutorial on how you did the overlapping pattern for the second row.. How do we assure to get the alteration on the "scales"

I've crocheted for over 30 years. The second row is called a front post double crochet stitch. If there are no beginner stitches on here, 'google' them, or go to youtube. There should be something on there to help you. Good luck.

didn't like this one liked the woman I saw 1st ..I wanted to she her 2nd part

With a stitch like this, I was wondering why you don't have the camera over her shoulder so you can actually see how you would make the stitch, not how she is making it.

hey jeff I think I may have found a solution try doing the base first then go back and do the crock stich at the end of each row chain three or four and start the stitch pattern let me know how it works out. I am taking mine out and starting over, but I think this might work good luck send a pic if you can I will do the same

i really like this video it is less complicated than written instructions and it relly is easy to do

wow this looks easy until the second part got really tough on me but i will get the hang of it because i am still a beginner at this Crocheting. Thanks Jeff Rodgers from Holiday, FL
