When the kids are out of school, it surprisingly doesn’t take long for them to get bored with their freedom…hanging around the house or outside with nothing to do. If your kids are looking for something to spark their creative interest, check out Crafting with Kids, a great visual book filled with 75 great projects for kids.
Broken down by season, Crafting with Kids is a great book for parents and teachers. Each project in this book has step by step full color photos, so it’s easy for kids and adults to craft together. Make projects to help with spring cleaning, crafts to take on summer vacation, find great back to school projects, holiday crafts, party crafts, and much more! This is the ultimate book for creative kids!
As the daughter of a music teacher, I was instantly drawn to the “Recycling Bin Band” project. This craft uses items from the recycle bin, such as newspaper, empty tissue boxes, and cardboard tubes to create 4 must have band necessities, including a microphone and a kazoo!
Whether it’s summer break or back to school time, Crafting with Kids is a great way to get young ones interested in arts and crafts. Get those kids away from the Play Stations and TV’s and discover all the fun you can have as a family making and creating!
