Believe Christmas Book
If you want to make Christmas paper crafts that are unlike anything you've ever seen, you're in luck. Use recycled Christmas cards to construct your own meaningful Believe Christmas Book from Candace Jedrowicz. The intricate details and colorful accents make this project truly special.
Materials:
- Aleene's Flexible Stretchable Fabric Glue
- Aleene's Fabric Fusion Peel and Stick Sheets
- Word shaped book
- Colorful cards
- Color papers
- Scissors
- Glitter Glue.
- Fabric for the book's spine
- Paint brush
Instructions:
-
Cover all sides (except for the back edge) of the book with decorative paper.
-
Line up the pages and set something heavy on top.
-
Slather the back edge with Aleene's Flexible Stretchable Glue. Allow to dry overnight.
-
Cut fabric to at least 1/2" larger than the book spine.
-
Cut 1/4" strips of the Aleene's Fabric Fusion Peel and stick sheets.
-
Apply the strips to the edges of the fabric and fold the edges over. Be sure to make the folded edges of the top and bottom match the spine length while the sides need to be long enough to attach to the front and back with at least 1/4" overlap.
- Cut and apply adhesive strips to the now folded edges of the fabric. Attach the front edge first and fold across the spine to the back.
