How to Make Ribbon Spool Flowers
Don't throw away that empty ribbon bolt! Instead, create handmade flowers from Heidi Borchers that will surely evoke spring. Learn how to make ribbon spool flowers that can be mounted onto a colorful canvas and displayed as art.
Start with two different-sized ribbon spools. Carefully seperate the two circles on the sides of the spools so you have three different pieces. The circles from the larger spool will serve as the petals and the circles from the smaller spool will become the leaves and stems. Acrylic paint adds color and vibrancy to your flowers. Have fun when choosing your hues and makes your flowers stand out!
