How to Make The Look of Copper Enamel with Glue and Paint

The copper enameling process can be very complicated and tough to master. Learn how to make the look of copper enamel with glue and paint from Heidi Borchers. This is a great alternative for crafter that don't have a ton of time or supplies.

Use this technique to create a cool vintage-inspired journal. Start by removing the cover from a journal you already have. Save a cereal box and use the cardboard to cut out shapes. On a piece of wax paper, mix acrylic paint and Aleene's Tacky Glue. Use a craft stick to spread the paint and glue mixture on the cardboard. Use a toothpick to create design using other acrylic paint and glue mixtures. You can even use a pin to create a look of marble. Glue the cover back on the journal and start recording your thoughts and feelings.
