How to Make an Eco Paper Garland From Children's Books
Not sure what to do with those stacks of old children's books? Learn how to make an Eco Paper Garland from children's books and use it to decorate gifts. This is a fun and unexpected touch for birthday presents and holiday gifts.
For this project from Heather Valentine, you only need paper (in this case, the paper comes from repurposed children's books), a large hole punch, thread and a sewing machine. Use the hole punch to create circles - the more, the better. To create dimension, sew two circles together and fold the top one up. Also, sew the thread to the circles using a straight stitch. Your garland can be used for gifts or even hung on a mantel as decoration.
