How to Make an Outdoor Candle Chandelier
If you're looking for garden craft ideas, think outside the box. Learn how to make an Outdoor Candle Chandelier from Linda Peterson using a variety of easy-to-find items like chicken wire and beads. Hang one up outside for a rustic, shabby look.
Fold chicken wire around a piece of aluminum wire. Bend the ends to create a cylinder and be sure to snip off the ends. Secure ends of 22 guage wire to the bottom of the piece and begin wrapping clockwise. This will create a circle at the bottom of the cylinder. Take a second piece of wire and do the same but on the opposite side, so the wires create an "x" shape. Once this wire wrapping is completed, you can begin adding chains, beads and other embellishments. The more cool and unexpected touches, the better!
