Star Wall Hanging
Show that little star in your life how big of a star he is. Create this quick and easy wall hanging to inspire that little guy or girl. Painting this makes it a fun crafting with kids project.

- DA235 - Citron Green
- DAO29 - Boysenberry Pink
- DAO41 - Country Blue
- DAO67 - Lamp (Ebony) Black
- DA237 - Soft Lilac
- Liquid Beadz
- BE04C - Pink
- Triple Thick Gloss Glaze
- Palette Knife
- DT02 - Palette Knife
- Americana Brushes
- DBR2003-B - Round #3
- DBF2575-B - Flat 3/4"
- DBF3012-B - Shader #12
- 16" x 20" Frederix canvas
- Water container
- Paper towels
- Palette or foam plate
- Tracing and transfer paper
- Pencil
- Craft knife or scissors
- Foam sheet
- 3/4" masking tape

Steps:
PREPARATION:
- Adjust patterns to fit canvas.
- Trace and transfer patterns onto canvas.
- Trace star onto foam sheet. Cut out with craft knife or scissors to make stencil.
Note: Let paint dry between steps.
PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Paint the word "star" on center of canvas using #12 shader brush and Boysenberry Pink.
- Paint star with Citron Green using 3/4" brush.
- Mask off star and stripes using masking tape. Paint stripes with Soft Lilac and Country Blue.
- Use #3 round brush and Lamp Black to outline writing, star, and stripes.
- Use palette knife to scoop and spread Pink Beadz inside star stencil, placing stars randomly around canvas. Carefully remove and wipe stencil between applications.
- Let dry completely.
Seal the canvas, if desired, using Triple Thick Gloss Glaze Spray. Mist with several light coats, allowing to dry between applications.
