This is a happy little family. I know it's only June but I want to get it done and put away for the holidays. These would look affordable on my mantel. I know the grand kids would like them and being crochet, they can touch them with out fear of breaking anything.

This is so cute, however, I am not an expert at crocheting and I am a little confused about the directions. Line 6-says to cont in this manner, inc 6 sc evenly around next 2 rnds. Can you please explain this to me again. Thanks for your help.

I made this cute snowman family in November for my married daughter & 2 grandchildren, ages 2 & 4. For "daddy" snowman, I added a purchased doll-sized toboggan, and plaid fabric scarf. For "mommy" I cut a Christmas print fabric circle & hand-basted 3/4" inside and gathered it up for a poofy hat & used the same print fabric for her scarf. Each child snowman, I used old large rounded-top buttons - covering the buttons with fabric, sewing them on each sides of their heads to represent earmuffs. The band connecting the button earmuffs, I chain-crocheted and sewed the chained lengths from one muff to the other and matched the fabric of the ear muffs to scarves for them. Thanks for offering this pattern - the grandkids got a real kick out of them. These will be set out in my daughters home each Christmas holiday season for years to come!

I just made the Daddy one....and while I did make a few adjustments such as adding a top hat and made my scarf a little longer and also crocheted it rather than felt...now can't wait to get the whole family and give as a gift to my sons's family....thanks so much for this pattern...love love it...

This little family looks and crochets up just like the photo!!! This would be so quick to help use up scraps and then take them around to nursing homes or to elderly "shut-ins" to brighten their holidays! Super Cute!

it is only 6 inches the large one, is there a way you can make it bigger?

@mwroblew 7678888: If you would like to save and print the pattern, we suggest you use the print button at the top of the page. If you are not ready to print immediately, then you should choose to print to a document writer. When the print box comes up, you will find there is a drop-down list where you can select your printer. Instead of selecting your printer, choose the document writer option, which will create a document out of the pattern instead of printing it. You can then save this document and print it when you are ready to use it. Hope this helps! -- Editors of FaveCrafts

@ pinkcaddy7, when I am low on ink I often download to my computer file so that when I do have ink or when I want to review patterns to make, I can print it then. I may not always remember the name of it on this site, but I can name it my own file name and know exactly what I'm looking for. I realize Mary Davis' comment sounded weird - but I understood it! HA!

These are very sweet. My preacher's wife just loves snowmen. If I have enough time I might just make them for her.

Why would you want to download it if you have no ink to print it??? LOL . . . Sorry, just thought that was funny . . . I'd be glad to print it and send it to you.
