Materials:

  • 12.00mm Crochet Hook -OR- 10.00mm Crochet Hook
  • 250g Super Bulky Yarn {14ply}
  • Scissors
  • Tapestry/Wool Needle

Size:

  • Roughly 42 inches around and 14 inches wide.

Instructions:

  1. Start off by taking your yarn and 12.00mm crochet hook and make a Slip Knot, then crochet 55 Chains. Note: If you chose to use a 10.00mm crochet hook instead of a 12.00mm hook then you'll need to crochet 81 Chains.
     
  2. Row 1 Chain 3, skip one stitch, then Half Double Crochet into the following stitch (5th Stitch). *Chain 1, skip one stitch, then crochet a Half Double Crochet into the next stitch.* Repeat from the * mark all across, making sure to end with a Half Double Crochet into the last chain.
     
  3. Row 2 Chain 2, then Half Double Crochet into the chain one space. *Chain 1, skip one stitch, then crochet a Half Double Crochet into the next chain one space.* Repeat from the* mark all across, making sure to end with a Half Double Crochet into the top of the 3 chains you made in the previous row.
     
  4. Row 3 - 13 Chain 2, then Half Double Crochet into the chain one space. *Chain 1, skip one stitch, then crochet a Half Double Crochet into the next chain one space.* Repeat from the* mark all across, making sure to end with a Half Double Crochet into the top of the 2 chains you made in the previous row. Note: If you chose to use a 10.00mm crochet hook instead of a 12.00mm hook then you'll need to crochet 2 extra rows.
     
  5.  When you've completed all the rows, connect the two ends of the scarf together to create a circle {thus a circle scarf}. Be sure to add half a twist once before Slip Stitching the two ends together.
     
  6.  Fasten off, and weave in ends.
