For #7 round 6, I think that "sc around ch-5 sp 1 round below and ch-5 sp 2 round below" means after you completed the ch4, go to the 'ch-5 sp' row from round 5 (the chain right underneath) and complete a sc. Then go to the 'ch-5 sp' from round 4 (the chain right underneath the one from round 5) and complete a sc. Finally, ch 4 and continue. Good luck ))

Hi Alikea, What I am doing is one single crochet stitch that goes around both chain-stitch spaces at the same time, pulling them together. In the next round, you will be putting 3 sc's into each sc you did in this round. Hope that is helpful. It definitely looks right to me, and I'm working on my second square.

I need help on figuring out round 6. It says to "single crochet around chain-5 space 1 round below and chain-5 space 2 rounds below." What does that mean? I looked at the close-up picture on Ravelry, but it didn't help me to understand. Could you please explain how to do this? THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

It would make a pretty table runner if you did it with 2 or 3 squares across. Don't think I'd make it as a scarf though.

All Free Crochet has a pattern for "Dainty Green Scarf" when I have tried to print the pattern it only prints the back page, will not print the first 2 pages. I have tried it 3 times. Please let me know what I should do, short of trying to hand write the directions, which I really don't want to do.

Is it possible to get a enlarged picture on all patterns. I think it would help a lot seeing the stitch up close.

Beautiful scarf. What I would like to know: there's is a suggested yarn (with yardage) to use with a skein being 3 ounces. I see 9 ounces in the description; so that means THREE SKEINS of the suggested yarn, right? And it would be good to include a closeup of the motif with the pattern instructions, just sayin' ;)

@Bigpup you can do that by clicking the Print button above the pattern. That will remove all the advertisements and make the pattern easy to read. Hope that helps!

Pretty, but would like to see close up of motif to follow pattern more easily. Closeups are also useful if there is error in written directions. I also was wondering about the fringes being optional as there were none shown in photo. Glad there was a comment about that.

@arlene o Great comment. The best way to get a close up would be to contact the manufacturer directly, in this case, Caron Yarn. They might even have a video on their site, as well.

Sorry for the omission. We've added the materials list to the pattern. The fringe for the pattern is optional. In addition, we changed the introduction to let you know that it's an intermediate-level project. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

I agree with the other comments, what yarn, hook size is needed? Also, why would you put fringe on such a lacy scarf? The picture doesn't show any fringe.

What good is the pattern if you don't list the materials (yarn, hook size)?
