Three Colored Cloche
Keep warm during the cold winter months with this Three Colored Cloche. This textured and colorful hat is great for men and women alike, and it's a simple pattern that you may find yourself making over and over again. Mix and match your favorite colors and create a hat that's totally and completely you. Really crafty crocheters could create one heck of a stashbuster hat by combining all those yarn scraps into this fun Cloche hat. Materials:
- 1 skein Caron International's Simply Soft yarn in Black (MC)
- 1 skein Caron International's Simply Soft yarn in Autumn Red (A)
- 1 skein Caron International's Simply Soft yarn in Grey Heather (B)
- H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
- Yarn needle
Gauge: 6 clusters and 6 1/2 rows = 4”/10cm in pat.
Special Abbreviation:
- Cluster = (yo and draw up a loop, yo and draw through 2 loops on hook) 3 times in next sp, yo and draw though all loops on hook.
Instructions:

Beg at crown, with MC, ch 4; join with sl st to first ch to form a ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 3, (yo and draw up a loop, yo and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice in ring, yo and draw though all loops on hook – beg cluster made, (ch 1, cluster in ring) 7 times, ch 1; join A with sl st to top of first cluster – 8 clusters.

Rnd 2: With A, sl st in next ch-1 sp, (beg cluster, ch 1, cluster) in same sp, ch 1, *(cluster, ch 1) twice in next ch-1 sp; rep from * around; join MC with sl st to top of first cluster – 16 clusters.

Rnd 3: With MC, sl st in next ch-1 sp, beg cluster in same sp, ch 1, *(cluster, ch 1) twice in next ch-1 sp, cluster in next ch-1 sp, ch 1; rep from * 6 times more, (cluster, ch 1) twice in last ch-1 sp; join A with sl st to top of first cluster – 24 clusters.

I love the look of this hat. I love the way it looks like the background is black. I love the color combination of pink and gray, and I think with black background, it will pop beautifully. Oh and I might try it in blue, yellow and instead of black, I will try white.

I really like this hat. I really enjoy crocheting with more then one color in the pattern. It makes for a fun and interesting time seeing what colors you can come up with. To me this would be a fun hat to make in your teams colors and wear to outdoor sporting events. I think it would be great for men or women.
