I have been a fan of FaveCrafts for years. In looking overyour fabulous lists of what crafts I could look at, I was stupified to realize that Favecraft could take up all of my time and then then are things on your listing for many more craft areas. I love this. Thank you for contacting me. I will certainly look over the list and choose things I am very interested to learn. To sum up Thank you Thank you Thank you! From Susan Raisner

I believe this would be the perfect summer beach wrap. I am happy to try this one out for myself. I think if I made it in a little bit of a chunky yarn I could wear this as a blanket triangle scarf over a denim jacket in the fall, too. I like to experiment with yarns and think outside the box.

Great easy project that takes only a few hours to do. I made it for my aunt, who has cancer and is in the hospital a lot, and its cold. When my grandma, mom, and daughter saw it, they wanted one too. It's light enough to want to use in the Spring in Florida and heavy enough that it keeps the chill of the hospital and church off. Looks great in solids, blended colors and ombre.

I tend to get cold easily and I find it is the right weight in airconditioned places and looks like it would also knock a chill off the shoulders in the winter just sitting watching TV.

I love this pattern. It makes up quickly. I take it when I go to an air-conditioned area and it is just the right size.

I searched for this yarn and found some sellers on eBay. To help you find a current compatible yarn, it is: category 5 in weight, eyelash style, bulky, but medium weight. It is hand wash :p, and comes in 70 yard, 1.75 oz. skeins, recommended I crochet hook. It shouldn't be too hard to find something comparable. Have fun crocheting!

@crochetinc 8847204 - Thanks for bringing that to our attention. I'm sure many readers will appreciate knowing that this yarn is no longer available. We would suggest asking your local craft store what a comparable yarn would be. Thanks! -The editors of FaveCrafts

i would LOVE to make the ... " Crochet Shawl for Summer " BUT.... the yarn called for in the pattern was dis-continued YEARS AGO i talked directly to Caron & it took someone who had been theres for a long time to recognize it. perhaps readers could be re-minded to make a note of some kind that the yarn might no longer be available tks
