The link for this "crochet shawl" in the introduction pages goes to a error page as does the "free crochet shawl pattern". However the directions are below. My question is, are those directions for the item in taupe or yellow?

I am a little confused. There are two different pieces. The one in brown has a tie but the yellow looks completely like a rectangular piece. Will the piece have the option to be worn both ways. Can anyone offer any comments about that?

I wanted to attempt to tackle this sweet and feminine lacy bolero, with the TIE front, which I LOVE! It is the perfect wardrobe staple for the spring and summer months, don't you think? Kinda just a little apprehensive to go out and buy the yarn for this because of all the comments about pattern errors and stuff.

I have written to this several times and it not come up. This is an imperfectly written by some one who does not understand how to write. I have wasted two weeks on this. I am moving on to my next pattern not written by Patons.

This is a very pretty pattern. And living in Florida, it's the kind that I can really get some use out of. Most of the outer we are patterns are too much to wear in Florida so when I see one like this I grab it. Thank you for sharing it.

This pattern is very poorly written, and confussing. I've been working on this pattern for over a week and I have finely gotten to row 21, Shape armholes. I have worked and unraved this section I know a dozen times, and it still doesn't make any sense. Wondering if anyone else is having this problem. I can only rate this pattern very poor.

On the Paton's website this is called the "From the Middle Bolero". The downloadable pattern is 9 pages long and has what looks like some very helpful diagrams showing orientations and sizing differences.

Hi there! This pattern was sent to us directly from Patons Yarn, so these are the exact instructions from their site. If you're confused or would like more information on how to put this pattern together, we suggest contacting Patons directly and asking for more information. They might be able to provide you with a chart or maybe even a video to help you create this pattern. Thanks!

I am not very experienced in crocheting but would love to make the Grace Kelly Bolero Shawl. I have a question about the instructions. Its about making the front and back. There is an abbreviation that I am not familiar with. Could you please explain to me what "rst" means. Your help will greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am struggling to make this - the pattern for the fronts is very confusing and I can't tell whether I'm working it upwards, downwards, sideways or what! I have got stuck after the "proceed as follows" stages and have got wonky edges now that don't look right. Also, when I've got to the "shaping the armholes" row we are told previously to repeat the previous rows until it matches the back, ending at the "armhole edge" (which I can't tell which is which anyway) but then goes on to shape the armhole at the opposite end of the so-called "armhole edge". Help!!

I'm confused with Step 4 where it says, "Sl st in next dc and ch-2 sp." I think the dash before the 2 is confusing the meaning for me. Could you help me? I love this shawl and am trying to make it for my daughter. Thank you!!

Duanejones35 3090792 don't know if you have gotten your answer. It just means to sl st in the next dc & ch 2 sp.
