I know exactly what you mean. I always buy extra so be sure that I have enough, then I have a couple of skeins left over. I dont have enough to do anything with, so I am just left with them, never sure what to do with them. I have however recently come across a couple of patterns on this site that are one skein patterns, I am going to try them and see if I cant use up some of my extra yarn. Sure would be great to get some of this extra yarn gone so I can fill up my bins with yarn for projects.

I love Bernat baby yarn. It is very soft. . Whenever it goes on sale I stock up because I know I'll be using it to make something. I just have to have an idea of what I'm going to make, like a plushie or blanket so I know many skeins to buy. There's nothing worse than running out of yarn before you finish the project only to find it's been discontinued or out of stock!

Bumpy Baby Blanket This is a lovely pattern. thanks for sharing. I am following this pattern and have a few questions: 1st row says repeat the * to last 2 CH. This means the last pattern will not be a complete pattern (ie sc 11, ch1 miss next ch). According to my calculation the last one will be 3 SC then 1 SC to each of the last ch. Is this correct? 2nd row: what does it mean by .. Miss next ch-1sp? is it the same as ch1, miss next stitch? Many thanks!

Hi Eastwood--Thanks for your comment! In answer to your question, the end of the second row says to single crochet in each one of those leftover 2 chains, so the row is completed before you start the next row. And yes, the pattern will not be complete, but that's okay.--Hope that helps! FaveCrafts Editors

LOVE this blanket! Just a few questions: 2nd row instruction says . Miss next ch-1 sp. Does this mean miss the next chain AND next chair (ie miss 2 stiches, or just miss the next chain ie 1 stiches)?

Hi Eastwood--Thanks for your comment. In answer to your question, the miss next ch-1 space means you're going to skip the little 1 stitch arch you made the row before. For example, the beginning row says to single crochet, chain 1, skip a stitch, and chain one again. You're going to skip over that little chain one arch. Hope that helps!--FaveCrafts Editor
