Graphic Baby Blanket
This mitered baby's blanket from Bernat Yarns has a subtle graphic pattern with a textured look. For all skill levels, this crochet baby's blanket looks great in neutrals and brights.
MATERIALS
- Bernat® Handicrafter Cotton (50 g/1.75 oz/73 m/80 yds)
- or Bernat® Satin (100 g/3.5 oz/149 m/163 yds)
- 1342 m / 1470 yds
- Crochet Hook: size 5 mm (U.S. H or 8) or size needed to obtain gauge.
MEASUREMENTS
Approx 36 ins [91.5 cm] square.

13 sc and 14 rows = 4 ins [10 cm].
INSTRUCTIONS
Square (make 64).
Ch 36.
1st row: (RS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of ch. Turn. 35 sc. Place marker on center st.
2nd row: Ch 1. Work in back loops only, 1 sc in each sc to 1 st before marked st. Miss next sc. 1 sc in marked st. Miss next sc. 1 sc in each sc to end of row. Turn.
Rep last row 15 times more. 3 sc.
Next row: (WS). Ch 1.Working in back loops only, (Draw up a loop in next st) 3 times. Yoh and draw through all 4 loops on hook – sc3tog made. Fasten off.
Join Squares into 8 rows of 8 squares in each row (see Diagram).
Edging:With RS of work facing, join yarn with sl st in any corner of Blanket. Ch 1. Work in sc evenly around Blanket, having 3 sc in corners. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.
