Spring Fling Cellphone Bling

Add some style to your phone with this sparkly spring cell phone bling.

Materials:

• Cell phone
• 4" x 6" Treasure Tape Sheet
• 1/4" Treasure Tape
• Diamond Beadlets
• #12 Braid in spring colors (we used 326 Hibiscus)
• 1/8" Ribbon in spring colors (we used 092 Star Yellow)
• Fabric scraps, cut into 1" squares
• Flat-backed button
• Shallow pan or tray

Steps:

1. Cut a piece of Treasure Tape to be 2" x 2", or smaller if you have a little cell phone.
    
2. On the back of your cell phone lay the piece of Treasure Tape by removing the white backing of the tape. Remove the red liner to expose the top sticky part.
    
3. Lay your fabric scraps on the tape as shown in the photo, or in any desired placement. Press to smooth out the fabric and make sure it adheres to the tape.
    
4. Lay 1/8" Ribbon between fabric scraps if needed for a 'crazy quilt effect'.
    
5. Cut a small piece of 1/4" Treasure Tape and attach to the back of your button. Remove the red liner and attach the button to the center of your phone.
    
6. Lay the 1/4" Treasure Tape all around the outside edge of the decorated fabric area. Remove the red liner.
    
7. Decorate this 1/4" sticky area with #12 Braid in swirls. Lay the phone in a shallow pan or tray and cover remaining sticky areas with Diamond Beadlets.
