This is a beautiful pattern. Butterflies are so pretty. Personally, I love ribbon embroidery and I think butterflies would look prettier in silk ribbon. I am going to change the pattern a bit and use silk ribbon (ribbon stitch) for the butterfly wings. I will go two tone between the ribbon and DMC satin floss. It's going to look great!

Muy hermosas estas mariposas bordadas.

@ tgambino, Under the photo of butterflies is a link to open the pattern in a new window. Right click anywhere and click on "save picture as" (jpg or bmp) or "print picture" in the menu. Happy Stitching...

How do you print the pattern? I can bring it up in a new window but with no print instructions?

Sew Funny, These same butterflies accent my grandmothers bedroom. They are on her curtains, bedspread and pillow cases. I love it but for my taste I would go with more funky colors. But hey that's just me.

@bagibird: You may have to copy and paste the image into a Word document or Paint file in order to print it. Once you open the pattern link, right-click on the image and select "copy." Then paste into a document and print. Hope this helps! -- Editors of FaveCrafts

Hi Would love to start this project, but I can't print the pattern - am I doing something wrong?
