Smile Chick Card
Brighten someone's day with this chick card from Uchida of America, made with ribbon, stamps and punches.
Materials:
- Marvy® Squishy Scissors
- Marvy® Clever Lever Giga oval punch
- Marvy® Clever Lever Mega oval punch
- Marvy® Clever Lever Mega Scalloped rectangle punch ¼ inch punch
- Marvy® Clever Lever Super Jumbo Country Star punch
- Marvy® Pink and light Brown ink pad
- Doodlebug Smile Clear Stamps by Hampton Art
- Zip Dry Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives
- Green dot ribbon by Creative impressions
- Synthetic sponge
- White, Dark Pink, Celery, light and medium yellow cardstock by Prism
- Marvy® Squishy Scissors
- Marvy® Paper Trimming Buddy - Straight Blade
Instructions:
- Stamp flower image in pink down the left side of the card.
- Stamp Sentiment onto white cardstock using the pink ink pad. Punch out with Clever Lever scalloped rectangle punch. Trim a 1x2 inch strip of green and snip the top to create faux grass. Separate segments and curl over with your fingers.
- Punch out light yellow cardstock using both Giga oval punches. Cut one in half and Sponge edges of both.
- Punch out Med. Yellow with the country star punch, trim one point off to used for the beak, sponge edges.
- Punch out small circles from Pink cardstock.
- Assemble Chick onto the card as shown over the grass with Zip Dry paper glue.
- Adhere punched out sentiment and finish with green ribbon, sniping ends with the squishy scissors.
