DIY Boutique Style Packaging
Here's an easy way to rig up some professional looking packaging for homemade jewelery gifts. Follow these simple instructions and no one will ever guess your creations didn't come from a fancy boutique!
You will need paper ephemera, card stock, plastic baggie, hole punch, scotch tape, stapler, labels and some pretty jewelery to give. Depending on the thickness of your ephemera, you may also need some spray adhesive or a glue stick. I ordered my bags here, but a plain sandwich baggie would work just as well. Just snip off the ziplock.
Choose an interesting piece of ephemera. If your ephemera is a thin piece of paper, use a little spray adhesive or a glue stick to adhere it to a piece of card stock. Your backing will need to be thick to support the weight of the jewelery. Then, punch holes where you'd like the earrings, necklace or bracelet to hang. Place the jewelery accordingly and tape securely at the back.
Slip the card and baubles into the plastic bag. Choose a coordinating piece of ephemera, fold over the top neatly, and secure with a staple in either side. Now you could add a label with the lucky recipient's name. So pretty, you won't even have to gift wrap!

I like this idea for showing items at craft shows because people can touch and see without getting them dirty or sticky. I also used an idea similiar but with paper envelopes with cardstock and tissue paper.

This idea can also be adapted for use when selling jewelry you have made. Use a consistent design, such as same paper, stickers, color, etc., to increase "brand" recognition'
