Scalloped Bracelet
This jewelry project from Katie Hacker is great if you are looking for a unique beading project.
Materials:
- Two 12" and one 9" length of .015 diameter bright Beadalon® 49
- Silver filigree 3-hole snap clasp
- Six 1.3mm silver crimp beads
- Nine 8mm silver filigree cylindrical beads
- Ten 12mm red faceted glass cylindrical beads
- 100 silver-lined red E beads
- Nipper Tool
- Crimping pliers
Steps:
- Arrange the Beadalon® 49 strands so the longest are on the outside and the shortest is in the center. String a crimp bead 1/2" from the end of each piece of Beadalon® 49. For each strand, string the Beadalon® 49 through a loop on the clasp and back into the crimp bead to form a loop. Use crimping pliers to crimp the crimp bead.
- String five E beads onto each outside strand. String a 12mm red bead onto the center strand. String the outside strands through opposite sides of a filigree tube. Pull the strand ends so the filigree tube is perpendicular to the 12mm bead. Place the center strand through the filigree tube. Repeat this pattern until all of the beads are used.
- String a crimp bead onto each end. For each strand, string the Beadalon® 49 through a loop on the clasp and back into the crimp bead to form a loop. Use crimping pliers to crimp the crimp bead.
