Two Strand Pendant Necklace
The floral pendant and double strand of this necklace from Katie Hacker make it an attractive and unique jewelry project.
Materials:
- 1 - 16 in. length of Beadalon Suede Lace, brown color
- 1 - 16 in. length of .012 in. diameter Beadalon 19 Strand wire
- 2 - 2mm silver crimp beads
- 2 - silver bead tips
- 2 - silver suede cord ends
- 1 - silver spring ring clasp
- 1 - 6mm jump ring
- Assorted gray, silver, black, and white seed beads
- 1 - pendant
- Chain nose pliers
- Crimp tool
- Jump ring tool
Instructions:
- String a crimp bead and a bead tip onto the end of the Beadalon wire. Crimp the crimp bead and use chain nose pliers to close the bead tip around it. String seed beads until the wire is almost completely covered. Attach a bead tip and crimp bead to the end of the necklace.
- Lay one end of the suede lace inside a suede cord end. Use chain nose pliers to press each side of the cord end closed. Repeat for the other end of the suede lace. Attach a split ring to each end of the suede lace. Attach the bead tip hooks at the ends of the beaded strand to the split rings also.
- Attach a pendant to a jump ring and string it onto the center of the necklace. Attach a clasp to one side of the necklace.
