Irish Trace Cable Stitch Pattern

This Irish Trace Cable Stitch Pattern is perfect for a winter scarf or a cozy sweater.  While this is an easy pattern, experience using a cable needle is needed, since it's used in almost every row.  This is a great way for knitting fans to challenge themselves with the slightly more complicated cable stitch.

Materials:

• Yarn: Caron 1 pound
• Needle: US 11

Finished Size: 6 x 9 inches

Abbreviations:
RC-P = Slip 1 to back, K2 then P1 from cable needle
RC-K = Slip 1 to back, K2 then K1 from cable needle
LC-K = Slip 2 to front, K1 then K2 from cable needle
LC-P = Slip 2 to front, P1 then K2 from cable needle
Moss stitch = Even rows =K1 P1 across the row
Odd rows = Knit the purls and purl the knits, as you see them
