Give your photo book a custom cover with this How to Decoupage a Mini Album tutorial from Latrice Murphy. With an old book cover and some fun paper scraps, you can create a cover that's personal and unique.
Materials:
- Foam brush
- Mod Podge
- Small plastic tray
- Paper, fabric or ribbon (I used Bella Blvd papers)
- Flat embellishments
- Chipboard or old book cover (I used a vintage book cover)

Instructions:
-
Start by measuring your naked cover and choosing paper or fabric. Once it’s measures cut the paper down to fit leaving a 1” border around all sides. Trim the corners away to make good folding corners.
-
Next add a layer of Mod Podge and using either your hand or a Brayer smooth the paper onto the cover.
-
Fold the flap over also using Mod Podge and hold to secure. Add a thick layer of Mod Podge over the top and layer more paper or embellishments from there.
- Each layer should get a little Mod Podge and in the end cover the entire thing and let air dry for about ½ hour.
