- Sewing machine
- Layout or card
- Upholstery thread
- Tape

You want to thread your sewing machine according to your owners manual.

Start slowly and manually put the needle down, followed by the presser foot.

While holding the threads to the back and holding your paper steady begin to sew slowly. Once you gain confidence and experience you will be able to do this much faster.

When done sewing raise the needle and presser foot, pull the thread and cut.
- On the back of your paper give the bobbin thread a tug to pull the front thread through. Tape it down and trim it off.
