Each of the gears and sprockets have even, perfectly spaced notches in them - both around the outer edge AND the inner edge. The stamping block has a notch on the top and bottom that fits perfectly into the notches on the gears and sprockets. This is what makes it so easy to make perfectly spaced, lined up designs. In addition the stamping block also has grid lines on it so you can easily line up your image exactly.
I was thrilled when I was contacted by Inkadinkado to review the products when they hit the market. They are new and innovative and different - an exciting change of pace and a great addition for all sorts of stamping projects as well as mixed media projects of all types. I was unsure if I would get the same perfect results as shown on the website but to my delight it was perfectly simple to do! I made three projects with the items included in the Deluxe Kit. The sprocket and gear pieces have non-slip foam on the bottom to help them stay put while stamping.
