Ombre Christmas Tree

By: Wendy Robbins from My French Twist
Ombre Christmas Tree

"I love decorating my tree with fresh artistic themes each year. But let’s face it. I don’t always have the time to reinvent the wheel. So this year, I decided to create an ombre Christmas tree using nothing but Dollar Store ornaments. Inexpensive? Yep. Simple? Yep. The results? Well, take a look for yourself. With some ball ornaments from Dollar Tree, some spray paint, and a bit of ingenuity, I transformed this little tree into something stunning."

Celebrate With More Christmas Craft Ideas

If you enjoyed creating the Ombre Christmas Tree using Dollar Store ornaments, there are plenty of other festive craft projects you can dive into this holiday season! Here are three more Christmas craft ideas to keep you busy and your home looking merry and bright:

1. DIY Advent Calendar: Get in the spirit of the season by making your own Advent calendar to count down the days until Christmas. You can use small boxes, envelopes, or even fabric pouches to create individual pockets for each day. Fill them with treats, small toys, or messages for a personalized touch. Hang the calendar on your wall or mantle for a fun and decorative way to anticipate the holiday.

2. Snowflake Wreath: Add a touch of winter wonderland to your home with a beautiful snowflake wreath. Start with a plain wreath base, which you can find at your local craft store, and then attach various sizes and styles of snowflake ornaments using hot glue. You can also add silver or white glitter for an extra sparkly effect. Hang your handmade snowflake wreath on your front door or above the fireplace for a festive and elegant touch.

3. Personalized Stockings: Give your mantle a personal touch by creating custom stockings for each member of your family. Start with plain stockings, which you can find at most craft stores, and then use fabric paint, glitter, beads, or other embellishments to decorate them. You can add each person's name, favorite colors, or even their hobbies or interests to make each stocking unique. Hang them with care and fill them with goodies on Christmas Eve for a special holiday tradition.

These craft projects are sure to bring joy and creativity to your holiday season. Have fun crafting and decorating, and most importantly, enjoy the festive spirit!
