'Spread Kindness Like Confetti' Wood Panel
From the Designer: "This beautiful wood canvas sparkles like diamonds, which isn't a surprise since it features Extreme Glitter Paint, Diamond Dotz, and Glitterific paint! The image is traced from a coloring book, so you don't have to be a master of hand lettering to make it look like you are. Just trace, color, and then add lots and lots of sparkle! Display your completed project at home, in a classroom, or anywhere else you'd like people to "Spread Kindness Like Confetti."

Instructions
-
Prime the canvas with gesso. Apply two layers of Folk Art Extreme Glitter Hologram Paint, allowing it to dry between coats.
-
Remove the coloring page from the coloring book. Use a charcoal pencil to scribble all over the back of the page.
-
Put the page face up on the inside of the wood canvas. Use a pencil to trace the words and images on the coloring page. Carefully lift the corners one at a time to be sure the image is transferring.
-
Remove the coloring page. Using the transferred lines as a guide, color in the words and designs with paints, paint markers, or Sharpies.
-
Use a kneaded eraser to remove any pencil marks or smudges.
-
Create confetti by punching different colors of cardstock with a standard hole punch. Sprinkle it onto your design, moving it around until you are happy with the placement.
-
Using the stylus from a Diamond Art kit, pick up each piece of confetti, add a drop of glue, then replace it on the canvas.
-
Add a drop of glue to each piece of confetti, then use the stylus to put coordinating Diamond Dotz on top.
-
Rub the 'frame' of the wood canvas with Glitterific paint. Apply at least two colors, letting the first dry before applying the second.
