Aleene's Restyled Jewelry Ornament
Crafts using old jewelry can help you get organized and stay creative all at the same time. Use a Styrofoam ball as a canvas for your Aleene's Restyled Jewelry Ornament from Tiffany Windsor and cover the space with broken or mismatched jewelry pieces you no longer want or need.
Start by covering the Styrofoam ball in acrylic paint and set the piece aside to dry. Modify any jewelry so it will lie flat when laid on the ball. Use both hot glue and Aleene's Tacky Glue to ensure that the jewelry does not fall off. Cover the jewelry with Aleene's Tacky Glue and lay it on the ball. Hold it in place until the hot glue secures it. You can use a hair dryer to melt any excess hot glue and create a clean surface. Make a bow out of a piece of ribbon and attach it to the Styrofoam using a piece of wire. String up your ornament for Christmas or hang it on a doorknob - it's stylish enough to last all year long.
