Gloves and Mittens Charity Drive
FaveCrafts is turning 10!
Happy anniversary to us! To celebrate our tenth birthday, we're donating to a worthy cause.
FaveCrafts is teaming up with Warm Up America! to provide gloves and mittens to the homeless. From May 1, 2019 through June 30, 2019, we will be collecting gloves and mittens to donate to those in need.
BONUS: use your leftover yarn to crochet 7"x9" sections that Warm Up America! volunteers can seam together into lovely afghans.
Scroll down for new crochet gloves patterns as well as a special surprise!
Share Your Progress: We'd love to see how your blankets are coming along! Post your progress on social media with the hashtag #FaveCraftsTurns10
PLUS, when we receive your donation(s), you’ll be entered to win yarn from Yarnspirations, LoveCrafts, Red Heart, and Lion Brand!

General Requirements
- For contest entry: please make sure to print and fill out this form with your your name, address, and email address.
- What yarn to use? A medium weight, machine washable and dryable acrylic yarn is the ideal yarn to use for WUA! blankets and accessories so completed items are easy to clean.
- Tip! To crochet or knit “perfect” Warm Up America! sections, cut a 7″ by 9″ cardboard template. Use the template as a guide; it’s easier to handle than a measuring tape and great for kids.
