Crayon Friends Greeting Card
This friendly greeting card project is quick and easy and is great for kids. This makes a great activity for after school or a rainy day, and kids will love sending it to a friend.
Materials:
- White cardstock, cut to be a 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” card and matching envelope
- Black stamp pad, red stamp pad
- Crayon Kids stamp set by Stampin Up
- 1-inch Treasure Tape
- Diamond Beadlets
- Colored pencils
- Kreinik Petite Facets sky blue
- Kreinik #12 Braid 100 White
- Flat-backed cabochons or buttons (for feet, and one heart)
Instructions:

Using red ink, stamp “Friends” along the bottom of the front of your card.

Using black ink, stamp a boy image and girl image on the front of your card.

With colored pencils, color in stamped areas as desired.

Cut pieces of Treasure Tape to fit the dress of the girl and the shirt of the boy. Attach. Remove the red liner to expose the top sticky part.

Lay white braid in loops at the bottom of the girl’s dress (to replicate lace), pressing the thread into the tape to make it stick.

Lay a heart button on the girl’s dress near the top.

On the boy’s shirt, lay Petite Facets to look like buttons.

Lay your card in a shallow pan, and cover remaining sticky areas with Diamond Beadlets.
- Cut pieces of Treasure Tape to fit the feet of each. Remove the top red liner, then attach cabochons as shoes.
