A Frog Pocket Pal
Ribbit! This crazy frog will bring a smile to your face.
The frog pocket pal project is perfect for a Hodge Podge Crafts event. If you are a Mom or Dad planning a party, or a school or local park district looking for ideas with some left over crafts, the pocket pal craft project is perfect.
Materials:
- Aleene's® Quick Dry Tacky Glue™
- Acrylic paint, green
- Fine line permanent marking pen
- Craft sticks
- Craft foam; white, black, red; light green
- 1/4" flat brush
- Woodsies, assorted sizes and shapes
- Plastic
- Paper punches: 1/8”, 1/4”
Steps:
1. Glue wood pieces together. Glue the tip of craft stick to back of the figure, making sure there is space enough to insert into a pocket. Let dry.
2. Using ¼” brush, paint with green acrylic paint. Let dry.
3. Glue all trims into place:
Eyes: ¼” white circles and 1/8” black circles from craft foam
Legs & nose: Light green craft foam
Toes: 1/8" green circles from craft foam
Tongue: Red craft foam
Bug: Black craft foam
Wings: Plastic
Mouth: Fine line permanent marking pen
