Alternating Spike Stitch Crochet Dishcloth

Alternating Spike Stitch Crochet Dishcloth

"This easy crochet pattern creates a textured washcloth (8.5" x 8.5") or tea towel (14.25" x 22.5") using the alternating spike stitch. You'll alternate between single crochet and spiked single crochet (SPsc) stitches, adding a unique woven look. The project is worked in rows with worsted weight cotton yarn and a 5.5mm hook, and you can customize the size by adjusting the starting chain and repeating the rows. An optional single crochet border adds a neat finish. This pattern is great for advanced beginners and results in a durable, thick fabric perfect for scrubbing or kitchen towels."
