Sugar Maple Boot Cuffs

Sugar Maple Boot Cuffs

"The crochet pattern for these rustic Sugar Maple boot cuffs is quick and easy to make, so there's no guilt involved in taking the time to make something for yourself for once! Dress these boot cuffs up with the addition of cute lacy socks underneath, or wear them "as is" for a functional look that is anything but boring! Because these are designed with small repeats, it should be fairly easy to make these to fit a variety of womens and kids calf sizes. I've included rough estimates in the notes section. Finish them with ribbons, or crochet a tie and put small pom-poms on the end for a completely different, yet totally cute look!"

NotesYou must be comfortable with stitching in the “3rd loop” of an hdc. After turning, work all stitches for that row in the 3rd loop of the hdc from previous row (it will be in the front). Instructions: Look at the top of the stitch, and locate the sideways “V”, bend the stitch to look at the back*, and you should see another “V”. You’ll be working into the back loop of that “V”, this is called the 3rd loop. *When working in rows, this loop will be facing you!
