"The pattern for this blanket has rows of half double crochet and rows of single and double crochet. The stitches are very easy however the way that the rows are set up in this pattern will give it a look of a faux braid. You will create a really classic look with blanket. Pick out a bulky yarn for this.The yarn that is featured in the pictures was by Buttercream (alpca) in Taupe. It has such a nice soft and heavy feel. You can pick a different bulky yarn but I would recommend using one color only to achieve the classic look."
