"Stitches between *asterisks* are repeated. Ch 1 does not count as a st If you prefer to make a longer size, simply chain any multiple of 6 + 2, then work the pattern as written. Work more or less repeat rows if you'd like your bookmark wider. Row 3 begins and ends with a half-shell stitch in the first and last sts.
