"This pattern is written for child size. It can stretch over my head... but if I were to make one for an adult or teen, I would add one more row to at least half of the color changes if not at all of them. And add more SC to each row to make it taller.(approx 5 to each row unless you want it baggy or able to fold up, then add more) This hat, laying flat, measures 9 inches wide. Each color section is approx 2.25" 1 color section should measure 1/8th of your desired head circumference. Stitches Used FSC - Foundation Single Crochet DC-DEC - Single Crochet Decrease FPSC - Front Post Single Crochet HDC - Half Double Crochet SC - Single Crochet SL ST - Slip Stitch (Joining) CH - Chain Supplies Worsted Weight Yarn - Red, Blue, Yellow J/10 - 6 mm Crochet hook Yarn Needle Scissors Colors Used Color A - Red Color B- Blue Color C - Yellow"
