Watermelon Slice Applique

Watermelon Slice Applique
"I created this applique as part of a challenge where the theme was Summer. What can you do with an applique? Sew it onto a granny square, garment or beanie, glue it onto the front of a card, starch it to create a pendant for a necklace or earring, make a bunch and string them together as a garland… Just to name a few. You'll need just a small amount of yarn for this applique, and the beauty of appliques is that you can use any yarn with respective size hook. I did use WeCrochet Dishie for mine, which is worsted weight. My applique took me about 20 minutes to work up."
