Girl's Bee Frame
This is a cute picture frame for a little girl's room. The pink color will brighten up her room and the bumble bee is a great little addition. This is a great DIY project and the painting makes it fun!
Materials:
- Americana Acrylics
- DAO1 - Snow (Titanium) White
- DAO10 - Cadmium Yellow (transparent)
- DA215 - Peony Pink
- Glamour Dust
- DAS37 - Glamour Dust Crystal
- Americana Multi-Purpose Sealer
- DS17 - Multi-Purpose Sealer
- Painted wood shape: bee, ProvoCraft
- 3/4" flat brush
- Foam plate
- 1/2" round foam pouncer brush
- Elmer's Craft Bond Glue
- 3.5" x 3.5" unfinished wood memory frame, Don Mechanic SKU 326635(55036)
Steps:
Preparation: Remove all inserts or labels and wipe surface before painting.
- Use flat brush and Peony Pink to paint frame; let dry.
- Use pouncer brush dipped into Snow White to paint five dots in circular pattern to form flower and repeat over surface. While wet, sprinkle with Glamour Dust. Let dry, then brush off excess.
- Use pouncer brush dipped in Cadmium Yellow to dot on flower centers. While wet, sprinkle with Glamour Dust. Let dry, then brush off excess.
- Apply coat of Multi-Purpose Sealer to frame with flat brush and let dry.
- Glue wood shape to frame.
