Materials:
- Americana Multi-Surface Acrylics:
- Water container
- Palette or plastic plate
- Paper towels
- Stylus or pencil
- Tracing paper
- Transfer paper
- 1" flat brush
- 12" flat brush
- #1 round brush
- Wooden planter
Instructions:
- Start with a plain wood planter.
- Use a 1" flat brush to basecoat each section a different color. Load the brush separately using Blue Bird, Apple Green, Coastal Waters, and Lavender Fields. Rinse the brush between steps and at the end.
- Trace and transfer pattern.
- Use #1 round brush and Chartreuse to paint vines.
- Use #12 flat brush to basecoat flower petals Shrimp and leaves Chartreuse.
- Use #1 round brush and Poppy to outline petals. Use Apple Green to outline and detail leaves and vines.
- Use #1 round brush to add buds with Shrimp and Poppy and leaves at bud bases with Chartreuse.
- Use #12 flat brush and Lavender Fields to paint flower centers.
- Use brush handle end and Poppy to dot flower petals.
