DIY Faux Gold Leaf Succulent Planter
Learn how to upgrade a small faux cement planter with a perfect metallic pop! This easy tutorial is finished in an hour and is so trendy and cute! - Faux Cement Succulent Planter
- Clear Gesso
Instructions

Remove the yellow backing paper from the Adhesive Sheets and align it onto the planter. Press firmly and rub to transfer the adhesive to the planter. Repeat until you get your desired coverage on the planter.

Take a Metallic Transfer Foil Sheet in Gold and cover over the adhered area of the planter with the color side UP. Rub to transfer the gold color onto the planter and peel away.

Once the first application of foil is completed, go back and spot apply foil in the “bald” spots. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Veining and flaked areas add to the rustic aesthetic of the faux gold leaf finish.
Designer Tip: Try applying foil from used sheets for a more random natural finish. -
Seal the planter with a coat of clear gesso.
