From the Designer: "A fun mixed media, upcycle project using various product from Plaid Enterprises. This project is the perfect way to upcycle a beautiful bottle into a happy home decor piece! Plaid products included Crackle Medium, Metallic acrylic paint and Extreme Glitter paint. Love the crackled metallic surfaces and the glitter gathered in the cracks. The details, shimmer and colors result in a project that you will happily display for yourself and others to enjoy. Warning: Once you upcycle one bottle, you can't help but look for more bottles to upcycle!"

Materials List
- Crackle Medium
- Extreme Glitter paint in Peridot
- Metallics paint in Ice Blue
- Bottle
- Glue and sealant
- White Gesso
- Gilding flakes
Instructions

Clean bottle thoroughly and dry.

Apply glue and seal to bottle. Air dry.

Apply white Gesso to bottle. Air dry.

Apply Crackle Medium. Air dry.

Apply Metallics paint to entire bottle. Air dry.

Apply Extreme Glitter paint liberally to top 1/3 of bottle. Allow paint to slowly trail down side for an interesting effect. Air dry.

Apply thin coat of Metallics to entire bottle. Air dry.

Use liquid adhesive to top 1/4 (or smaller) of bottle and apply gilding flakes. Air dry.

Remove loose gilding flakes. Gently smooth gilding flake surface.
