Baby Girl Photo Cube

This Baby Girl Photo Cube from Canvas Corp is a great DIY project for a new baby!  This fold out cube is a one-of-a-kind way to see how your little girl has grown.  For best new baby gifts, make them yourself!

Materials:

• Canvas Corp: 4-6″x6″ Canvas
• Black & Ivory: mini dot, large dot, stripe
• Black & White: Damask, swirl
• Pink & Ivory: Swirl, flower, dot
• Thickstock: black
• Tissuestock: white, ivory
• E-Flute: kraft
• Kraft paper
• Mini clothespin
• Kraft Square Envelopes
• Tim Holtz: button, hanger
• Bazzill: brad
• Ranger: black ink
• Misc: knobs {4}
• 7″x7″ MDF board
• Hinges
• Ribbon
• Stamps
• Acrylic Sheet

Instructions:

1. Attach knobs to the bottom of the 7″x7″ MDF board.
    
2. Make Large Matchbook Style books for the inside and bottom of the box.
    
3. Embellish the backside of the canvas with pictures and etc., attach the acrylic sheet to the top to create a shadowbox effect. You can stamp on the acrylic & tissuestock with Staz-on ink {optional}
    
4. Attach the 4 canvases to the base with hinges.
    
5. Construct the top using Thickstock with patterned paper layered on top.
    
6. Add Ribbon to the top.
