Christmas Trees On Wood Slices Ornaments
"You can buy the wood online. I used both imported and domestic wood. If the wood isn't already dried you can buy it early and just leave it somewhere warm like the garage. I used acrylic paint and regular paint brushes including a fan brush. There are some easy tutorials on YouTube about how to paint a tree. The most important thing is don't get over particular. Trees in the wild are never perfect. Each of them probably takes about 10 or 15 minutes and you can personalize them with a sharpie. Since the wood is so inexpensive we use them as a fundraiser and donated the proceeds."

- 2 1/2-3 1/2 inch wood log slices
- Acrylic paint- white, black, burnt umber, hunter green
- Brushes, including fan brush
- Christmas ornament hangers or ribbon
- White Glue or hot glue for fastening hangers without a hole
- Sharpie for personalizing

NotesI practiced painting some Christmas trees on various surfaces just to get confident in my skills. I am definitely not an artist but these turned out pretty well
