Materials List
- 2 1/2 yards of 2.5" wired ribbon
- 1" ball ornament
- Chenille stem
- Fabri-tac fabric glue
- Hot glue gun
- Embellishments/hanger
Instructions
-
Begin by cutting five pieces of wired ribbon 7 1/2" long.
-
Bring ends together and cut ribbon on the diagonal, 1.25" from the center fold to edge end. The open five ribbons should be 7 1/2" on one side and 2 1/2 inches on the other side.
-
Bring the longest edges together to form a point, shaping into a cone.
-
Apply Fabri-tac glue to underside of ribbon edge and seal together overlapping, matching points to form a cone shape. Make sure opening on one cone can accommodate the shank of the ball ornament. Hot glue on.
-
Repeat gluing together the four remaining ribbon pieces into cones.
-
Glue one cone on both sides of the head cone, matching points and patterns.
