Materials List

  • Stix primer
  • Benjamin Moore Nob Hill and Navajo White paint
  • Antiquing glaze
  • Chalk powder
  • Blue painter's tape
  • Spray adhesive
  • Chalk pencil
  • Water-based polyurethane
  • Stencil brush kit
  • 2" and 4" dense foam rollers
  • 1" chip brush
  • 2.5" nylon paintbrush
  • Hammer
  • Saw
  • 120 grit sandpaper

Instructions

  1. Cut furniture to desired shape

  2. Sand, paint, and prime furniture

  3. Stencil border of the door

  4. Stencil border of the server

  5. Continue to stencil the furniture until there are minimal to no empty spaces

  6. Glaze furniture with antiquing glaze

  7. Dry brush edges and corners of furniture to mimic a natural aged patina effect

  8. Set with water-based polyurethane

  9. Add dresser knobs and a door knob if desired

  10. Enjoy your potting bench in a greenhouse or in your garden!
